serving the Central Florida Communities of Deltona, Orange City, DeBary and Enterprise since May of 1992.
"Central Florida Pregnancy Center’s mission is to save the life of a child, strengthen and transform families and do it again tomorrow."
"To create a Culture of Life in that all life is respected and accepted as a gift from God and that healthy families flourish in our community - where all mothers and fathers will possess a generous spirit of willingness to sacrifice for the sake of their children."
We are a 501C3 agency that exists to help women and families experiencing an unplanned pregnancy by providing factual information about all their options in a safe, loving, nonjudgmental environment. Facing an unplanned pregnancy is much like falling into a sink-hole. Sink holes give no warning; they just open up and swallow roads, cars, houses, and people. But the staff of Central Florida Pregnancy Center offers a strong "grab bar" to break the fall when a woman finds herself in the midst of a crisis pregnancy.
All our services are free and confidential and are offered without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances. We offer a free lab quality pregnancy test to help confirm a pregnancy. We have recently acquired the ability to offer a free limited educational ultrasound to qualified clients. Studies have shown that up to 80% of abortion minded women who see their unborn child via ultrasound will choose life for that child. We offer lay counseling, referrals for community services, free parenting education and material support. Our lay counselors undergo an extensive training course and continuing educational opportunities so that they are equipped to offer the best of care for our clients.
Through our Earn While You Learn parenting education program, clients and their partners learn essential skills which equip them to become successful parents. This is an incentive based program through which clients earn participation points on a coupon called a "Parenting Dollar" which can then be spent in our Baby Boutique for necessary items such as baby clothes, maternity clothes, diapers, wipes, strollers, etc. All the items in our Baby Boutique are supplied through donations from individuals, churches and organizations.
Most of our support comes from caring individuals, our local churches, area businesses and organizations. We conduct three major fundraisers each year. Our Walk for Life takes place each spring. Our Annual Fundraiser Banquet takes place in November. And our Baby Bottle Campaign for change takes place throughout the year in our local churches and civic organizations. It is our goal to have a Baby Bottle Campaign going in a different church or organization during each month of the year.
